Ocean Way/Record One in Hollywood reports that Steve Kempster mixed Trevor Rabin's score for Disney Pictures' The Sorcerer's Apprentice (which opens July 14) in the facility's Studio A film-mixing studio. Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Jon Turteltaub, creators of the National Treasure franchise, the film follows a modern day sorcerer and his hapless apprentice in a battle between good and evil.

Cakewalk announces the immediate availability of a new Mac support update for the V-Studio 20, which enables the VS-20 hardware and Effects Editor to be used with all popular Mac-based recording software titles.
